Story of Stories
In a country, there was a small and lovely girl. Her name was Radha. Radha loved going to her maternal uncle's house more than anything else in the world. Since she was a child, she would jump with joy saying, "I am going to my maternal uncle's house, I am going to my maternal uncle's house."At her maternal uncle's house, Radha had many friends and cousins. Her maternal grandmother, uncle, and aunt at the maternal uncle's house all loved Radha very much, calling her "my sweet little girl." That's why Radha would run swiftly to go to her maternal uncle's house.Whenever Radha reached her maternal uncle's house, Grandmother would cook delicious food for her. Uncle would take her to travel around new places. And at bedtime, Grandmother would tell Radha beautiful stories of birds, chicks, and magical worlds. Radha would listen to the stories with wide-open eyes. She liked those stories very much. After returning to her own home from her maternal uncle's house, Radha went happily to her neighboring friends. She gathered all her friends and said, "Listen friends! I will tell you a very fun story that I heard at my maternal uncle's house, okay!"Radha started telling the story in a sweet voice, waving her hands and acting it out. All her friends began to listen to the story, completely mesmerized. Radha told such a beautiful story that as soon as the story ended, all her friends clapped happily. However, after the story ended, the friends looked a little sad. Looking at the ground, they slowly said, "Radha, you told such a beautiful story! We don't even know how to tell stories like this. We don't have anyone to tell us stories either." Seeing her friends sad, Radha felt heartbroken.Radha smiled, held all her friends' hands, and said comfortingly, "Oh friends, don't be sad like this! Maternal uncle's house's grandmother taught me these stories. I will tell you new stories every day. And next time, you guys also come along with me to my maternal uncle's house. We will all sit together in grandmother's lap, eat delicious food, and come back after listening to many, many stories together, alright?"Hearing such loving and understanding words from Radha, a bright smile returned to her friends' faces. They jumped up with joy and gave Radha a hug. From that day on, the friends began to wait eagerly for when Radha would return from her maternal uncle's house and tell a new story. Now, they would sit in a round circle every evening, listen to Radha's story, and have fun laughing together.
